In recent years, Keolis, an international bus transportation group, has been on an impressive growth trajectory. The result? Many loyal customers and enthusiastic employees. Yet they too are being held back by the tight labor market. To get back to full speed, they need bus drivers. It's up to us to put the job and Keolis in the spotlight.
Bus drivers face a lot of negative publicity: low wages, poor work-life balance, little appreciation ... At Keolis, on the other hand, they do everything they can to make employees happy. They offer job security, focus on corporate social responsibility and invest in training. In addition, they want to be close to their team. Both physically, with offices close to home, and humanly, with a warm team spirit.
So there was a solid basis for a strong employer brand. To do this, we first did a number of working sessions with management, marketing and hr. Then we talked to drivers and technicians all over the country. What turned out? They get their energy not only from the connection within Keolis, but especially from the connection with their passengers. The connection they build with them and the bonds they see formed on their buses, that's what they do it for.
Enter the new employer brand: Keolis connects. Because as a bus driver, you do more than take people from A to B. You connect them by creating special moments. On the way to a first day of school, an exciting soccer match or a wonderful festival. We put those moments at the heart of employer branding and recruitment communication. Both in an online always-on awareness and conversion campaign and in offline advertisements and posters. This way, we hope to connect many new bus drivers to Keolis.
