The beating heart of Flanders

After desk research on existing research and some fascinating work sessions, we gained more insight into the different target groups, what they value and what convinces them to change jobs. We linked these learnings to the assets of the Flemish Parliament as an employer. This allowed us to determine the employer proposition, communication pillars and communication levels.

In the heart, from the heart

We then brought this to life with an attractive concept and employer story. "Hier maak je het mee" formed the campaign line, translating the essence of an exciting job where you can make your mark in a strong team and actively contribute at the heart of Flemish democracy. It’s an open invitation to anyone looking for a job with impact.

Flemish Parliament in the picture

In the visuals, we put the employees of the Flemish Parliament in 'het halfrond', the place where it's all happening. We photographed from a subtle frog perspective in which the employee poses confidently with the glass dome as a background for visual recognition.

With various key messages tailored to our target groups, we gave the desire to work towards an ever better Flanders. An employer brand guidebook with guidelines and templates gave confidence and calm to the communication and HR department for all further communication.

Make a difference together

With four pilot ambassadors, we stirred up ambassadorship among all 230 employees. On the agenda: testimonials, information sessions with managers, a photo shoot for all employees, internal printed matter and more interpretation on the intranet. We want to inspire employees and make them proud of their employer. Of course, we always pay the necessary attention to our evp pillars. Finally, accessible tools and formats such as training courses and a master class stimulate the involvement of all employees.

We then drew up a yearly communication plan to increase brand awareness, improve the reputation of the Flemish Parliament as an employer and attract candidates. The first phase to attract new candidates is now behind us and was a great success.
